On the Road with Ruth is about the journey of a Believing family that discovers the Hebrew Roots of the Faith.
Just as Ruth purposely decided to follow Naomi and say "your people are my people and your God is my God" vs 1:16. Our family has decided to follow this path.
So come and partake of the journey with us. Let us travel over the desert, through the Jordan and into the Promised Land.

Welcome

Thank you for stopping by today. Come, wander around and enjoy the journey with us. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Happy Chanukah

Today at sunset Chanukah starts and lasts until Sat. Dec 19th at sunset.  Let us light the first candle and remember what these days commemorate.  The battle to not assimilate, to stand up for God and take back what the enemy has taken.  This happened in the physical during the Maccabee's time, but it happens to all of us in the spiritual all the time.
During this Chanukah season, let us pray for Israel and what is happening to the land and people.  Lift up  the IDF soldiers that watch over the country, their modern day Maccabees.
Also pray for our soldiers in the Middle East.  If you know any by name be it either IDF or US, each night when you light a candle, pray for a soldier.  If you did that every night you would cover 36 soldiers in one week.
Chanukah is known as the Festival of Lights.  Yeshua is the Light of the World.  Remember as you use the Shamash (the Servant) Candle to light the rest, that it is by Yeshua's light that our light shines.  Did you ever realize that when the candles are lit, you pay no attention to candle, only the light.  May that be us.  That people don't see us but Yeshua in us.
John 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
It is written in the Bible as the Feast of Dedication.  Because it was on Chanukah that the Holy Temple was rededicated to the service of the Lord.  Let us rededicate ourselves to the service of the Lord.
John 10:22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
